Road trip to Coba

March 13th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

Our hungry stomach took us to the fisherman’s cove in downtown Akumal. We had 2 big fish and shrimp ceviches and a couple of shrimp quesadillas with cold Mexican beer. Over lunch I talked my mom and my boyfriend over for a quick drive to the pyramids of Coba and they quickly agreed, which took me by surprise.

I didn’t know weather or not we were going to get there on time, still we stocked to the plan. The drive was not a quick one, Riviera Maya has the longest and boring highways, it took us 50 minutes to get there and for our surprise we made it on time, exactly two hours before closing time.
We rented bikes and drove them for 4 miles till we got to the principal pyramid. We had the best afternoon on top of it; the view at that height was outstanding! The stairway was almost vertical and it had a rope on the side, supposedly to make you feel secure, still my mom couldn’t make it to the top cause she suffers from vertigo.

On the top we saw a large, thin and green iguana, which calmly posed for the pictures I took of her. We stood on the edge of the stairway for half and hour with an incredible view of the jungle landscape.

Finally on our way back to the car a bunch of monkeys passed in front of us. At that moment we felt so satisfied.
We got to casa yardena the villa we were staying at, without daylight and we quickly got upstairs to sleep.

What Can I Wear With Ugg Boots?

March 13th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

Being somewhat of a fashion expert, I’ve been asked many times about one of the latest fashion crazes that has literally swept the world.  “What do I wear with my Ugg Boots?”  The question should actually be more like, “What can’t you wear with Ugg Boots?”

This new fashion footwear is so versatile that you can really wear it with anything, therefore, there are very few rules when searching for clothes to go with your boots.  Ugg Boots have broken just about every so called fashion rule there is, then they create a whole new set of them.

What makes them so popular is there are just so many colors and styles available, this huge selection is the primary reason the entire line of boots has grown in popularity so rapidly. You can get very plain mid-calf boots, to tall ultra furry pink boots that roll up to just below the knee.

Nobody foresaw the huge success of these boots.  People are wearing them to work, out to dinner, out to late night clubs, and even on the beach where they started.  And these cheap Ugg Boots are not just for women anymore, there is an entire line of Ugg brand boots marketed to men and now even kids.

The boots are not only very comfortable but lightweight which adds to the overall appeal.  In fact, you will forget you are even wearing footwear.  So, which ones do you wear and which pair goes well with your overall fashion sense?  That’s for you to decide, but one thing is for sure, you can’t go wrong.

Site connects travelers with hotels

March 12th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

A new service called Who’s Got Room allows travelers to find hotels quickly and easily no matter what are of the country they are in. The free web site also helps hotels by filling unavailable rooms.

For example, if you had been traveling along Interstate 94 during the recent Midwest blizzard that put many northern states at a standstill, you could have pulled up Who’s Got Room on your cell phone and searched the nearest town for available hotel rooms. Hotels in Fargo were very full that night, so the service came in handy for many hotels and travelers.

The service also comes in handy during large events in town such as a high school softball tournament, a marathon or a Bon Jovi concert. Even though these events are scheduled well in advance, people wait to book their hotel rooms. And others are traveling through with no idea of what’s going on in a certain town because they are just stopping for a night while on their way home from a road trip. That’s where Who’s Got Room can help by connecting people with available hotel rooms.

The great thing about the site is anyone can benefit and use it for free. It costs nothing for hotel owners to add their hotels to the site, and it only takes about four minutes to do so. Once hotels update how many rooms they have available, they are visible at the top of the search results for their city.

More and more towns are getting involved with Who’s Got Room, which began in the Fargo, N.D., and Moorhead, MInn., area when Internet marketer Josh Whitford created the site.

Got hotel rooms to fill? Need a place to stay? Check out Who’s Got Room.

A PSP for you

March 12th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

PSP — or PlayStation Portable — is a mini, less weighter version of Sony’s PlayStation. It’s not as powerful as the PS2, but much more powerful than what the original PlayStation was.Built-in screen and speakers means you dont have other things to keep up with and to plug in.

As with the full-size PlayStation2, which has the ability toplay Cds and DVD as well as PlayStation games, the PSP is more than just a hand held gaming device. The PSP plays games in UMD ,which means Universal Media Disc format, but UMD format is also used for movies and other audio-visual content, and the PSP can pay those, too. And if that isn’t enough, the PSP can also play audio, video, and still image content off of Memory Sticks (Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick Pro Duo are the compatible formats).

Unlike the PlayStation2 , the PSP comes equipped with Wi-Fi, so you can connect with other players wirelessly and, if your firmware is version 2.00 or higher, get online to browse the internet.Theres also an add-on camera and a GPS device for use with the PSP, giving it even more capabilities even further.

The Cost can be alittle bit of the draw back for some younger players,so a PSP refurbished will do to begin with then later can be resold when enough money is saved for a new version. All in all the PSP that has been refurbished is every bit as good as a brand new one

How to Prime Your Site For Maximum SEO

March 12th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

Search Engine Optimization is a method of getting online directories and search engines to recognize your website. If your site is well recognized by popular directories and search engines you will obtain a better indexing position to ensure that anyone who is looking for your website will find it easily.

The main objective is to achieve a high ranking on the search results under your specified keywords. For example, if your website is based on internet web hosting, you would aim to have your website come up amongst the first results when someone is searching for those particular words. The higher up you are in the search engines and online directories, the better your chances are of doing business on the internet.

Here are some tips on how to optimize your site for search engines and directories:

Step 1

Conduct keyword research. This means finding out which keywords relating to your site are most highly sought out. You will need to find the words with the most searches, and include them in your website content and articles.

Step 2

Modify your website. Add optimized content to your site which includes your targeted keywords. Ensure that your content is constantly updated. You will need to ensure your web hosting provider is providing you with enough bandwidth.

Step 3

Add tags. Add or make changes to Title tags, Meta tags, H1 and H2 tags and ALT tags for images. This is best done after your keyword research has been completed. You will want the tags to correspond with your relevant keywords.

Step 4

Link building and Article Marketing

You will want as many links online as possible to lead people to your site. The best way to do this is to write articles containing content relating to the genre of your site. The articles will then be posted to as many article directories as possible, containing links back to your site in the article content or resource box. Another way to create links back to your site is to post shorter articles on Blog Post websites, or even social book marking websites. The idea is to display the URL link back to your page in as many places as possible on the internet.

Another way to get your site recognized by search engines and directories is by submitting your URL to them. Once you have done this, they will use software to scan your pages to see whether you have links back to other pages on the internet. The more links your site contains, the more favor it will receive from the search engines.

Besides your online SEO, there are also offline ways to optimize and promote your website. A good method is to place your URL on business cards, stationary, pamphlets and other advertising gimmicks. The idea is to attract as many people as possible to your website by piquing their interest.

In conclusion, it can easily be said that website optimization is conducted both on and offline. Online, you need to use keywords and links to attract customers and achieve good search engine rankings. Offline, you can advertise your URL to the public to entice them to visit your website.

4 Ways To Explode Your Blog Traffic For Free

March 12th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

Every online business needs traffic in order to survive, that much we already know.

But in this article, we’re going to look at 4 of the most effective ways to set up windfalls of consistent traffic through one of the best publishing platforms online - blogs.

1. RSS Feeds

Most blogging software such as Wordpress come with a built in RSS feed, which is the equivalent to having a newsletter subscription service, but of course is 100% free and requires no details to be passed over from the subscriber. Most people just let their RSS feed sit there on their new blogs but what you must do is submit your RSS feed URL to as many RSS directories as possible. Therefore, when you post new content on your blog, this is syndicated to your RSS feed and the directories display your most recent posts. This is one of the easiest ways to get immediate exposure every time you post content.

2. Blog commenting

If you’re looking for targeted traffic and some solid one way backlinks to boost your search engine listings, then try commenting on other people’s blogs leaving a link back to your website. Providing you post relevant and useful content/comments on other people’s blogs, the blog owner will “approve” your comments and you link will then become live. This can bring direct traffic and of course help with your rankings in the search engines.

3. Guest Bloggers

There are many advantages to having guest bloggers post their content on your site. Apart from the credibility of your blog going way up (depending on who the guest actually is), you are forming a mini joint venture where the guest is likely to tell his/her own audience about the material on your site, plus you may be able to work out a deal where you can return the favor and get access to their blog audience by appearing as a guest writer on their blog.

4. Trackback links

A trackback is when one blog communicates with another to inform the bloggers that their material has been referenced on someone else’s post. So if you were to write a really good post, I could write about your post and create a trackback on your blog that tells the readers I’ve been talking about you and your post. Not only can this bring direct traffic, but also provides another backlink to your blog which is great for a little SEO boost. When would this be most effective? Probably when I have a contrasting opinion to your original post or if I have something helpful (or controversial) to add to the original post.

These are just 4 of many ways to explode your blog traffic, but we’re not done yet. It’s possible to reach dizzy levels of traffic for your new blog right from day one when you have an arsenal of blogger’s traffic tactics at your disposal. Bankruptcy

March 10th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

Confused about when to file bankruptcy? Many individuals are}. Chances are you have heard about the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act enacted in 2005. BAPCPA enforced many restrictions and requirements; making it substantially more problematic to file.

Before you get to the situation of bankruptcy why not see if there is another way maybe for instance going down the route of non profit consolidation loan or even getting in touch with a service like 800 credit card debt .Remember you want to look upon bankruptcy as a last resort not a quick fix.So try other routes first

Figuring the details of how to move forward with bankruptcy mostly requires the assistance of a bankruptcy attorney. Saying that employing a lawyer to defend you in court is not necessary, few people have the knowledge or skills to go it alone. The complexnesses of BAPCPA may place debtors who file without legal representation at risk for experiencing their bankruptcy request rejected or later terminated.

The first step of filing bankruptcy requires debtors to define which chapter is best fitted for them. There are six bankruptcy chapters including Chapter 7, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15. Chapters 7 and 13 are set-aside for individuals, while the leftover four chapters are earmarked for businesses, partnerships, corps or farmers.

Chapter 7 is often related to as “liquidation” because debtors are asked to liquidate their assets to give back to creditors. Certain debts cannot be cleared under Chapter 7 including delinquent taxes, outstanding child support, pending lawsuits, and government funded or secured student loans.

Chapter 13 bankruptcy is identified as “reorganization” and expects repayment of debt. Debtors are allowed to retain their assets by preparing a refund plan. Most bankruptcy repayment plans are paid back over a time period of three to five years.

BAPCPA needs debtors to undergo the ‘means’ test; a fiscal tool applied to detect the debtors average income. The means test compares the debtor’s income to their states’ typical income. This figure is then used to settle how much debt must be given back.

What’s the next step in your online career ?

March 10th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

When I started to learn marketing online it was so exciting. I studied and eventually learned how to publish my very first website and started actually making a nice little income on the side with Adsense. That same site almost 5 years later pays my bills and has allowed me to quit my job. I am so grateful that I started my journey when I did and had the faith to continue when I thought I would give up. I recently started looking for some other way to diversify my online income.I considered all sorts of different things, and tried a few.

I tried selling stuff on Yahoo using dropshippers for paintball guns. It took me a couple months to learn how to do the graphics, study up on the subject, write content about it all and set up a merchant account. I spent like 40.00 per month on the site, and in 3 months managed to get one order. Yes, one. I excitedly packed it up and mailed it off the very next day and got an angry letter from the customer asking why it was taking so long. How could I help that it was all the way across the country and that it would take 5 days to get there..? Anyway, the next week came another order. One made with a stolen credit card. What a headache.

And after all of my trouble I didn’t even break even on the gun because of all of the merchant account charges. There just wasn’t enough profit. Other people were undoubtedly making this work but I wasn’t.

I imagine alot of you can relate to some of these examples and are looking right here and now for a legitimate way of earning money online.I’ve always been fascinated with learning pay per click advertising but have heard too many stories about people really losing loads of money in the process. And the fact is that I just didn’t have abunch of money for expensive courses that were probably outdated by the time you read them.

Now I’m excited to be in a group of lucky people who are actually going through training and will give you the headsup and my own ppc Kahuna review on how to do this pay per click stuff properly with tools that allow you to guage the competition and write your ads better then they do. We’ll have access to software that lets us know the best keywords to go after and why this will help you get more site traffic .

We’re going to be learning how to produce the best landing pages and everything else that goes with creating a successful marketing campaign. And it’s brought to you by the same guys that brought you Portal Feeder and Sydicate Kahuna. I”ve started a blog dedicated to evaluating the program and giving you an honest review of ppc kahuna. Maybe you’ll join me.

Outdoors And Brit Rider Muck Boots

March 10th, 2009 Filed under: General by admin Print This Post Print This Post

Ever been outdoors in the cold rain and ended up with wet boots and feet? I’ve been there and it is one of the most uncomfortable feelings. Not only are your feet cold but they are heavier as a result of the increased water. Even the so called leather, waterproof work boots seem to soak water too easily.

There are alternatives, you could wear rubber boots that are 100% waterproof, but there are two problems that I seem to encounter with these type of boots. The first being how uncomfortable these rubber boots can be. At times I feel like I’m walking with big flippers on my feet. The second problem is my feet seem to sweat a lot. Since the boots are 100% waterproof they can’t let sweat out either.

A few months ago I stumbled upon a magazine ad for an unusual waterproof rubber boot called Muck Boots. I went online ordered a pair and my feet have never been so dry. Remember the rubber being uncomfortable problem? These boots are made with a new rubber that is actually so pliable, you might forget you’re even wearing them. And the problem with my feet sweating? Not anymore, these boots come with a patented mesh leather liner that keeps the sweat off of your feet.

Muck Boots also make a great horseback riding boot or the Brit Rider Muck Boots. Riding a horse is never clean, the outdoor riding trails are always muddy, at least from my riding experiences. These boots also allow the control needed to maneuver the horse.

Great boots at some great prices. You can usually find discount Muck Boots online where the competition is the most saving you plenty while keeping your feet healthy and comfortable for whatever your lifestyle demands.
