How lame can a newbie with a computer be? Well, that is how I felt. But what really got me was they laughed in my face and then made fun of me in a playful way. Needless to say I started to think I was more stupid than ever. In fact, they led me to believe I was putting them out as well.
It might be based upon a naive nature that most people have when it comes to asking questions in general. But when I am searching for an answer regarding something like ‘Will adding memory speed up my computer’, I would think smarter people would extend a helpful hand out. Maybe it is the ‘Stupid’ tatoo I have across my forehead that others see. Well, I am tired of it.
Is it plausible that maybe you and me can become experts at fixing a computer without the help of a technician? After what I just fixed I believe so and so should you. It comes down to this ‘Registry Issues’ are not taboo for regular users like it once was. The so-called complexity has been programmed into the software application doing the actual repair work. So the hype keep us from doing it is just a myth created by the computer gifted.
There are a number of things that can make a computer perform poorly but the top three that I found in my research related to the operating system itself. And that was created by Microsoft. But there are three other items that get the blame most of the time; the CPU is old, not enough memory, and the hard disk is fragmented. Guess what, that is not the case by a long shot and most every pro knows that.
The operating system is the Achilles heel of the computer and especially if Microsoft is the brand. ‘Why?’ you ask. It is my opinion that they developed a system that would not be smart enough to fix it self. You see there are three areas within the OS that contribute to the overall problem of a slow computer; the Registry, Startup file, and Uninstalled applications. Granted there are a few other lessor issues but these are the bulk of the problems.
Do you now see the truth? Yes, the computer is a complicated device when you look at it from one perspective. But the complexity is reduced for all of us because there are tools that have been crafted for the common person to run and reduce potential issues for the computer. Is it worth $30 to be able to perform these tasks? I think so and so will you when you see that it will save you a bundle compared to the cost of a new computer.
Our web site offers the tool needed for enabling the user to fix a complex problem with peace. Having to count on other Techie people regarding How to speed up windows xp boot up or even Why is computer running so slow will become a thing of the past.
