So you’re probably itching to know what I’m up to suddenly talking about losing weight fast. Well, the other day I had a rare opportunity to climb a flight of stairs, and it did not end well. By the time I got myself up to the top, I was sweating profusely, wheezing, my skin was hot, and I felt like I would die. I excused myself and went into the bathroom, splashed some cold water on my cheeks, and gazed up into the mirror, and then it hit me: I needed to lose weight. Fast.

In some ways, I actually feel like I’m becoming my father. He was a hugely obese guy, with a wonderful sense of humor and a devout, pragmatic outlook on life. But I tell you, he was fat. And lately I’m getting fat also. Now don’t get me wrong, I love my pops, but I very much would like to avoid topping 350 pounds. Because once you get that big, there’s hardly any going back.

So I’ve been doing a bunch of research on how to lose weight fat. My wife has agreed to do this with me, saying that she would also like to lose some weight, which I think will make it easier to stay with whichever diet plan we end up using. There’s an almost unmanageable quantity of different opinions on weight loss out there

I’ll keep you guys up to date on how good the plan to lose weight turns out for us. I realize losing weight will not be easy, but it’s time to make it happen as far as I can see, so I’m really going to be trying hard to understand how to lose weight fast.
