No matter what your fancy is a caravan holiday is a great way for everyone in the family to get re-acquainted and spend time together, something that can be difficult for many during the course of a normal working week. The choice of a static caravan, touring caravan or motorhome is all a matter of personal preference depending on your cirumstances. The touring caravan or motorhome is certainly a great way of visiting several different destinations in a relatively short space of time. The whole family can be catered for, youngsters need to burn of some energy and may prefer some sandy beach and play area, teenagers, theme parks and clubs, whilst mum and dad may just want to chill out. It’s important that mum and dad remain flexible in their outlook, and it would be a good idea to include an itinerary and plan accordingly, get everyone involved. Children will appreciate being included in any travel plans. There’s a good chance they will choose a theme park or the beach if those are among the options. Sometimes it works well for a teenager to take a friend along, and while this might increase the parents load, the teen is likely to really appreciate it. It’s easy for youngsters to get bored on a long journey, so having a good selection of snacks, drinks, and entertainment, combined with frequent stops to stretch the legs will make things a lot easier. Remember it’s not a race to get to your destination.
